Literature: Bachrach, Arthur et al. A LIFE IN FULL: MILLICENT ROGERS. Albuquerque: ABQ Press, 2012. Illustrated p. 161

Other Notes: Lady Dorothy Brett (1883-1977). Daughter of Reginald Baliol Brett, Viscount Esher, she attended the Slade School of Art and was friendly with members of the Bloomsbury Group art circle. She also mixed with the literary circle that included George Bernard Shaw, Virginia Woolf, Aldous Huxley, and D.H. Lawrence. Lawrence, his wife Frieda and Brett moved to Taos in 1924 where Brett became a noted artist in Taos. As a close friend of Millicent Rogers she traveled to Millicent's home near Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Her works can be found in many museums including the Smithsonian.
