Rare book: Sketches of a Tour Cuming, F[ortescue]. SKETCHES OF A TOUR TO THE WESTERN COUNTRY, THROUGH THE STATES OF OHIO AND KENTUCKY; A VOYAGE DOWN THE OHIO AND MISSISSIPPI RIVERS, AND A TRIP THROUGH THE MISSISSIPPI TERRITORY, AND PART OF WEST FLORIDA. COMMENCED AT PHILADELPHIA IN THE WINTER OF 1807, AND CONCLUDED IN 1809...WITH...A NOTICE OF AN EXPEDITION THROUGH LOUISIANA. Pittsburgh: Cramer, Spear & Eichbaum, 1810. At page 324 Mr. Cuming's Tour ends, then follows "Notes of a voyage from Bayou Pierre to the Mouth of the Mississippi in 1799, by a Gentleman." The Appendix includes narratives of great importance. Full calf binding. (page 25 mispaginated 28)
