circa (1896-1906) deep blue canton bearing 45 white stars over a banner of thirteen alternating red and white stripes; each side of selvage stamped N.B. MEAD. (Good condition, each corner later reinforced with additional fabric, and some bleeding) H89" W138" *History: The stamp N.B. Mead probably indicates that this military-size flag flew at Fort Mead, the then highly secret base overlooking the Hoover Dam.
