Other Notes: These chairs originally from a suite of fourteen which were used at The White House in the formal dining room during the Lincoln administration.

Their succession of ownership is documented by several bills of sale and related papers, copies of which are available to purchaser.

Parts of this chair set have sold in these rooms, as well as Christie's New York .

    Condition:
  • Structurally sound. One with missing piece at top left crestrail. One with missing trim. One with old repair where back stile joins seatrail. Minor staining and wear to upholstery. Scratches and scuffs consistent with age and use.
