Description:

American Classical mahogany mantel clock, Bristol, Connecticut circa 1850
Forestville Manufacturing Company; full column and cornice over mahogany-veneered case with divided top door glazed with clear glass, revealing painted dial over reverse-painted glass above second door with similar panel, all resting on turned ball feet, housing 8-day, weight-driven time-and-strike movement.

    Condition:
  • Tablets replaced - painted by Tom Moberg, case in old finish and in excellent condition with very minor losses, original dial in very good condition, original movement, clock running in the gallery however we do not guarantee timepieces after they leave the gallery.
