American Hepplewhite style inlaid mahogany breakfront bookcase arched dentil molded crown, above a frieze with line and bellflower inlay, and molded glazed panel doors, two short drawers, and a center drawer open to reveal a writing surface with small drawers and pigeon holes; the lower part with serpentine top with molded edge, above three pull-out slides and center doors, flanked by eight short drawers; resting on shaped molded base with bracket feet. (Good condition, minor nicks and scuffs) H93" W86 1/2" D26" *Note: This bookcase was handcrafted out of solid mahogany and boxwood inlays by Charlton Hall Galleries, Inc. as a special order in 1972. It is a reduced version of a similar bookcase located in the Charleston Museum of Art.
