Description:

American mahogany tall case clock, Timothy Chandler Concord, New Hampshire, circa 1810
inlaid case of Roxbury form with arched bonnet, on waist with quarter columns and base with shaped skirt and French feet, housing 8-day brass movement with painted moon phase dial.
H96" W20 1/2" D9 3/4"

    Condition:
  • Old surface, probably original; two finials are original, center finial is wood replacement. Original painted dial with remnants of signature, overall good condition with minor imperfections consistent with age, very minor inlay losses, repair sticker from 1897. Movement is complete and in good order, however, we do not guarantee clocks to run once they leave our gallery.
