Description:

American maple tilt-top candlestand 19th century
oval top over bird-cage support and turned column, with three S-curve legs.
H28 5/8" W25 3/8" D16 7/8"

Provenance: Property from the estate of Gaynor Plunkett Collester, Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

    Condition:
  • Top appears to be original to stand, with dark stains and several edge chips. Lacking cleat which fits through birdcage, tightening top and stand, otherwise good condition with wear consistent with age.
