American Neo Classical mahogany side chair, signed by William Fiske of Boston/Salem Massachusetts Circa 1788-1793 a carved moulded and pierced shield-shaped backrest; over an upholstered seat with serpentine front rail; resting on square carved moulded legs and joined by moulded stretchers. (Damage to stretcher and joint right front leg). * Note: William Fiske is considered one of the more important cabinet makers in Massachusetts, Whose chairs are in the collection of the Boston Museum of Art.
