American Rococo carved and laminated rosewood sofa, J. & J.W. Meeks, New York circa 1855, in the "Stanton Hall" pattern, tufted shaped back with gadroon pierced cresting centering cartouche issuing flowerheads, inscrolled arms flanking serpentine bench seat and conforming bead-and-channel skirt, on cabriole legs with casters.
