American Sheraton cherry and birds-eye maple chest of drawers possibly New England early 19th century scrolling backboard on plain- edged top over case having six drawers flanked by ring-and-block turned legs. (Several dark stains to top repaired shrinkage crack to left side panel overall wear consistent with age) H54.5in W46.375in D20.5in NOTE: Secondary woods are white pine and larch (tamarack); both have a principal range in New England as does birds-eye maple.
