Anglo-Indian turned and stained ivory monobloc chess set Vizagapatam, 19th century, comprising:
2 Kings with Maltese cross finials, 2 Queens, 4 Rooks, 4 Bishops, 4 Knights, and 16 pawns; in natural and red stained colorations.
King H4" and pawn H1" (32pcs)

Provenance: Estate of Dr. Roger & Carole Stoll, New York and Boca Raton

    Condition:
  • losses and chips to each set, pawns with lost orbs, queens missing crowns, one rook missing top cap, one king's cross present but broken, other normal signs of wear.
