Bolivian 'Supay' La Diablada carnival mask mid 20th century
molded and painted plaster horned devil with applied ornament horns and mirrored embellishments.

Provenance: Columbus Museum, Columbus, Georgia; sold to benefit the acquisitions fund.

    Condition:
  • Crack at main neck of dragon; far left appendage with eye has been repaired; 3 mirrored ornaments on headress with cracks, two of these mirrors have been repaired; horn on top of middle dragon broken; two curly appendages betewen the eyes re-attached.
