British flintlock dueling pistol by Wilson 18th century
steel barrel supported by wood frame on flint side stamped Wilson with metal butt, trigger guard and two ramrod bands with original ramrod; with proof marks.

Other Notes: William H. Wilson was a famous gunmaker; working in Minories, London circa: 1760-1800. He primarily manufactured various types of flintlock weapons. He also made brass barrel flintlock boarding pistols for His Majesty's Royal Navy.

10" barrel, metal butt plate. Rust spotting all over metalwork, stock with two small cracks ahead of lock, lock plate loose. Metalwork worn but not brushed, whole gun with patina of age.
