Cased G. Thorpe Bartram 16-bore boxlock non-ejector hammerless SxS sporting gun circa 1890
action body and furniture engraved with the best foliate-scrollwork, highly figured stock with ebonite extension, the barrels with game rib. weight 5 lbs 13 1/2 oz, 14 3/8" pull, 28" barrels bored approx Cylinder and 1/4 choke, 2 1/2" chambers. Nitro re-proof. A GREAT LIGHTWEIGHT DOVE OR QUAIL GUN. Complete in it's original maker's leather trunk case with maker's label. Case marked: 'F. T. Young, Braintree' on lid. SN H18734.
