Cased Purdey 12-bore SxS sidelock ejector pigeon gun circa 1928
top-lever, treble-grip action and bar locks retaining 90% hardening color and profusely covered with fine rose and scroll engraving. Rolled edge trigger guard with Miller single trigger conversion. Restocked by the maker in 1962, 15 1/2" well-figured stock with pistolgrip hand, later extension and leather butt-pad. Chopper-lump 30" Whitworth steel barrels SN 57799, 2 3/4" chambers, chokes Full & Full, matt concave rib and ivory beads mid-way and at muzzle. Beaver-tail forend with Anson pushrod catch. Presented in leather motor case with J. Purdy & Sons Gun & Rifle Makers' label. SN 23443 **Subject to State & Federal Firearms Laws**
