Charlotte Livingston New York (1898-1991) AUTUMN LANDSCAPE WITH CREEK watercolor, unframed, signed: lower left H16" W20" *Artist biography: A painter in the Bronx of New York City, Charlotte Livingston was born in New York and studied at the National Academy of Design and the Art Students League and was a student of George Maynard and Ivan Olinsky. She was a member of the Bronx Artists Guild, the American Artists Professional League, the Bronx Institute of Art, the Ixia Society, and the American Federation of Arts. Livingston, a watercolor specialist, was married to Francis Vandeveer Kughler, an artist, and was Director of the Kingsbridge (NY) Historical Society from 1959 to 1972. She also served as the President of the Bronx Artists Guild.
