Description:

Chinese Export famille rose teapoy converted to lamp circa 1745
rouge-de-fer border over central floral bouquet, with raised iron red scrollwork at base, on wood stand, drilled to receive wiring, fitted with socket and bulb, shade included.

Provenance: Atlanta, Georgia collection.

    Condition:
  • Drilled to receive wiring; rubbing to decoration; no cover.

    ** All Chinese Export porcelain pieces have been examined under bright light and UV light. All show slight wear consistent with age. Only repairs and restorations, or wear greater than expected will be mentioned in condition reports.
