Chinese Export porcelain partial dinner service circa 1910 famille rose and butterfly decoration, consisting of: 1 plate, Dia.9 3/4" 6 deep dishes, Dia.8 1/2" 6 plates, Dia.7 1/2" 8 cups and saucers, Dia.5 1/2" 3 odd cups and saucers teapot stand, Dia.6" (Total 36pcs)

Provenance : A Charleston, South Carolina estate.

Other Notes: Acquired from General Mark W. Clark and accompanied by a note from him which reads "The china of which you have purchased from Lady Banksia Galleries is part of a collection of china which my Mother and Father acquired in China between the years of 1912-1916. As a result of the Boxer Rebellion, certain foreign countries were given a concession to maintain troops stationed in China. My Father at that time was assigned to the 15th United States Infantry located at Tientsin, China, and brought the china home when he returned in 1916. Mark W. Clark"
