a rectangular rose medallion tureen; lid with gilded fruit finial, alternating cartouches of figures against parquet floor and birds, butterflies, and flowers, decorated overall with green and gilt ground; the interior repeats the alternating cartouches, centering on a cartouche of a bird perched on flowering branches with a butterfly against conforming ground and wide gilded rim; exterior features four floral sprays on white ground.
