Classical mahogany pillar-and-scroll shelf clock, by John Nicholl of Belvidere, New Jersey
circa 1830
scrolling pediment surmounted by three turned finials, over divided glazed door with upper section covering painted dial with Arabic numerals, signed John Nicholl, Belvidere, the lower part with landscape eglomise panels, flanked by turned colonettes and reeded half-columns, ending on shaped base with carved hairy paw feet. (Small areas of repair, with minor flaking to painted panel)
