Continental carved walnut armoire last quarter 19th century, shell-and-scroll cresting on arched and molded pediment over conforming doors with beveled mirrored panels, on shaped base and cabriole legs with acanthus-carved knees.

    Condition:
  • repair to crown at top; minor chips to veneer on side of doors; loss to finish on stiles; bubbling in veneer on sides from shrinkage; joint cracks in carving consistent with age
