  • Painting exhibits heavy craquelure; hat with two tiny areas of flaking paint; UV light examination reveals old inpainting to sky, small repaired puncture at upper right quadrant, inpaiting to grass to right of figure, and to rocks in lower right quadrant; frame is old but not original.
