Continental silver miniature tea service and box first half 20th century three-piece Italian tea set by Coppini, comprising: teapot, H3 1/4" covered sugar, H2 1/2" creamer, H2 1/8" together with German miniature hinged box, H1 1/8" Dia.1 3/4" all in the Renaissance taste and marked 800. (Good condition) 7.8oz *Provenance: Evelyn Ames Davis and Paschell Davis inherited from Oakes and Blanche Ames of North Easton, Massachusetts. Blanche Ames inherited the service from her brother Butler Ames, who owned Villa Balbianello on Lake Como in Italy. This famous Italian villa has provided a beautiful setting for many films including "A Month on the Lake," starring Vanessa Redgrave and Uma Thurman, and the recently released James Bond 007 film,"Casino Royale."
