Country Chippendale carved mahogany tall case clock 19th century
broken arch crown centering finial over arched glazed door, central and lower case with chamfered corners, centered with oval inlays of country folk, with scalloped skirt and shaped feet.

Provenance: Property of a South Carolina museum. Proceeds generated will go towards future acquisitions.

  • Case is cherry with mahogany-veneered bonnet, finials and rosettes replaced. Rectangular patch on right side of waist, finish is sunbleached. Movement and dial are not original to the case.
