Early English porcelain plate and coffeepot plate, circa 1770, octagonal rim decorated with alternating panels of flowers and landscapes centering medallion with riverbank scene, all in rich blue-and-white on deep blue ground in the Oriental taste. Dia.7 1/2"; together with creamware coffeepot, circa 1785, blue-and-white decorated balustrade form with scrolling spout terminating in leaf and applied strap handle, H8 1/4"; each in underglaze-blue. Coffeepot lacking cover abd minor glaze flakes with to top rim and spout.
