Elaborate Indian painted and enameled metal figural chess set probably Jaipur, early 20th century, pieces comprising standing warriors as pawns, rooks as elephants, knights as horses, bishops as camels, and kings and queens as elephants with howdahs, each piece inset with cabochon ruby and contained within silk-lined, velvet case.
H2" to 3 3/4" case: L12 3/4" W24 1/4" H2 3/4" (32pcs)

Other Notes: Card contained in case stating that this set was gifted to King Farouk.
