English campaign style mahogany and brass-mounted desk circa 1890
superstructure fitted with pairs of small drawers, flanking folding writing slope concealing pigeonholes and storage well, with gilt-tooled leather panels, on kneehole case with central drawer flanked by banks of four drawers, on plinth.

Provenance: Property from an Aiken, South Carolina private collection.

    Condition:
  • No holes behind brasses, veneer chips and few bubbles in veneer. Side panel of superstructure with some damage, overall wear consistent with age.
