English carved mahogany chest with butler's drawer 19th century
rectangular top with floral incise-carved banding and gadroon edge, top drawer fitted with writing slide and interior compartments over three long graduated drawers, fronts with corresponding carving, on molded base with bracket feet.

Provenance: Property from an Asheville, North Carolina private collection.

  • Group of water spots on top, other minor imperfections. Few veneer chips, writing slide in top drawer very stiff. Overall good condition consistent with age.
