English chinoiserie tall case clock circa 1800
bonnet with gilt spandrels and arched glazed door over rolling moon brass face, flanked by colonettes, on long case decorated with figures in temples and landscapes, with cove-molded base, on plinth.

Chips, scuffs and scratches to case, small losses to chinoiserie revealing blue paint beneath. Movement is complete and operational, however the pendulum rod suspension is broken (easy repair), seat board is replaced, dial is original to the movement, hands are period, seconds hand is replaced, case base molding may be a replacement, top board of bonnet is replaced.
