English inlaid mahogany stick barometer, Peter Caminada circa 1820
broken arch pediment centering finial, with small glazed door over brass scale with weather notations and long neck extending to circular terminal, with checker stringing.
Provenance: Property from a private collection, Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mercury has separated in tube, some inlay repair, shrinkage crack in reservoir cover, finial appears to be original, overall condition is very good with other minor imperfections consistent with age.
