late 18th/early 19th century broken arch molded pediment topped with brass finials, over an arched and glazed panel door flanked by fluted column supports; the face marked 'Major Scholfield Manchester', eight-day movement with second hand and day-date hand; case with a door having a shaped panel centered by fluted quarter-columns; lower case molded, with canted corners, on shaped bracket feet. (Some cracking to frame around glass door, nicks to molding) H91 5/8" W22 1/4" D10 1/2"
