English sterling presentation coffer, by James Deakin & Son Sheffield 1930 a figural finial over a paneled rectangular cover; over a conforming body with divided panels decorated with trophies, coat-of-arms with motto: FEAR GOD HONOUR THE KING, and with inscription: PRESENTED TO ALDERMAN WILLIAM J. WILLIAMS, JP, ON HIS BEING ADMITTED AN HONORARY FREEMAN OF THE BOROUGH OF WREXHAM, 10TH JUNE 1931. All marked sterling including bolts and screws hallmarked. (Good condition, lacking one sterling silver screw and standing figure missing staff) H7 3/4" W9 1/8" D4 1/4", approximately 39 oz troy *Note: Accompanied by documentation referencing Alderman William J.
