Exceptional French champleve enamel clock garniture circa 1880
floral finial atop golden dome with applied enamel floral design supported by colonnade centering works and ornate dial, ending on molded gilt base and small feet; flanked by architectural garnitures fitted with winged statues; works marked: AD. Mougin.
clock H19 1/2" Dia.11" and garniture H15" Dia.6 1/2"

Provenance: Property deaccessioned from the Centennial Museum at the University of Texas at El Paso to benefit the Museum Collections Fund. (Accession #E69.26.407A, E69.26.407B, and E69.26.407C)

    Condition:
  • Some wear to gilded surfaces, minor enamel losses, pendulum may be a replacement, no key with clock, overall very good condition, clock running in gallery, however we do not guarantee timepieces to be running after they leave the gallery.
