Extremely rare and impressive set of twelve Satsuma earthenware cabinet plates, signed Kinkozan zo Late 19th century each in a shallow round form; decorated with gilt border, painted flowers with gilt scroll-work on a dark blue ground, centering cartouches of various birds and fowl in wooded landscapes; each marked with impressed and painted mark on underside.
