Description:

Federal gilded presentation banjo clock circa 1815
gilded finial over brass bezel and painted iron dial above gilded and rope-twist decorated throat and door retaining eglomise glass panels, on shaped bracket with ball finials.

    Condition:
  • Numerals and chapter ring are heightened, glasses appear to be original, however, the center of the lower glass has been repainted. Gilding is in excellent condition with minor touchup. Movement, weight and pendulum appear to be original to the case. Clock is presently running, but we do not guarantee clocks to run once they leave our gallery.
