Description:

Federal inlaid mahogany card table, possibly Seymour attributed to Thomas and John Seymour, Boston, circa 1810
shaped top with outset rounded corners and lunette inlaid edge, over conforming frieze with banded panels, on turned and reeded legs with ankle collars.

    Condition:
  • Refinished; veneer in center panel is probably a replacement. Minor loss to one rear leg ring turning; minor loss to reeding on one front leg. Illegible chalk signatures under top and swing leg gate. Excellent overall condition with other minor imperfections consistent with edge.
    The bottom 2-1/8" of legs have been pieced in.
