Description:

Federal inlaid mahogany tall chest of drawers circa 1810, probably Baltimore
rectangular case with two short drawers and bonnet drawer inlaid with central oval and paterae of shells, three long graduated drawers, on cupid's bow skirt and splayed feet.
H49 1/4" W45 1/8" D22 7/8"

    Condition:
  • Repolished, with repairs to edgebanding of top and veneer of faceframe. Stabilized cracks to veneer of shell inlays, feet with veneer repairs. Chest originally had knobs, with bore holes visible from inside drawers. Good restored condition.
