Fine American silver tankard, Richard Van Dyke New York, NY, circa 1740 domed hinged cover inset with Queen Anne crown 1707 five guinea coin, with corkscrew thumbpiece, on tapered cylinder body with fitted S-scroll handle ornamented with initials M/IT, fruit pendant, and cherub terminal; marked: with askew initials RD on each side of handle. (Good restored condition) H7 1/2" W9", and 40.5oz *Note: There are less then twelve identified pieces by Richard Van Dyke.
