Fine Canton chestnut basket and underplate circa 1850 Famille rose vase with flared mouth with three floral sprays; two panels in gilded meander border, each of four figures; two cartouches below each of three figures; white ground decorated with vases of flowers and precious objects; neck and base band with flowers and butterflies. ( Rim chip restored; normal wear.) H9in *Provenance: Bearing the Harrod's label. circa 1850 out-turned rim decorated with floral sprays butterflies and berries, pierce-work sides, centering richly painted scenes of ladies in court settings; under tray with conforming design (Restoration to basket rim.)
