Fine Classical coin silver coffeepot, Taylor & Lawrie Philadelphia, circa 1837-50
fox finial on hinged domed cover supported on amphora-form body adorned with lamb's tongue and beaded bands, shaped handle, scrolling spout terminating in horse's mask; and raised palmette capped sweeping legs ending on hairy paw feet; marked: Taylor & Lawrie along with pseudo hallmarks.
H13 1/2", and 36.3oz

    Condition:
  • Good condition with a few tiny blemishes to body and minor scuffing consistent with age.
