double-hinged serpentine top inlaid with brass, copper and silver opens to reveal brass-mounted tray with four engraved bottles and eight cordials, resting on turned bun feet; with interior brass plate engraved: P. Sormani, rue Charles No 10, Paris, monogrammed on lid: LC.
