French brass and champleve crystal regulator clock, retailed by J.E. Caldwell & Co circa 1870
domed champleve top with four finials, above glass case with full columns housing an eight-day time and strike movement with champleve and porcelain dial and pendulum, on turned feet.

Provenance: Washington, Georgia estate.

    Condition:
  • Side glasses are not beveled and probably replacements; flakes to back door glass; otherwise in excellent condition including enamel work and dial; original hands; no key with clock. Clock has been running in the gallery however, we do not guarantee timepieces to be operational after they leave the gallery.
