French chinoiserie mantel clock by Japy Freres late 19th century, serpentine top above porcelain dial flanked by brass columns on molded base; black painted case with polychrome chinoiserie decoration, eight-day time and strike movement marked "Japy Freres".

    Condition:
  • one movement fastening tie down is broken; movement is complete with pendulum and probably in running condition however it is not running in the gallery and we do not guarantee pieces once they leave the gallery; no key; case is in very good condition with minor losses to painted surfaces.
