Other Notes: The stamp CHAPUIS was used by two Parisian ebenistes Jean-Joseph Chapuis (1765-1864) and Claude Chapuis (active 1797-1818). The overall style and proportions of the legs indicate that this design was by Jean-Joseph Chapuis.
