French enamel and miniature inset jewelry casket 19th century
hinged cover inset with large painted ivory panel depicting romantic figures within landscape framed by aubergine gouache enamel bands and Neoclassical gold and silver metal framework over side panels of wreath, ribbon and garland designs, opening to cream-color cushioned velvet and fitted with lock; cover interior stamped OZ.
