Description:

French faience plates 19th century two pairs with vibrant decoration, Dia.9 1/2" and 10"; three with blue and white decorations and French text, Dia.9 1/4", 9 1/2" and 9 3/4". (Total 7pcs)

Provenance : Augustus Saint-Gaudens, American sculptor (1848-1907). Descended to his son Homer Saint-Gaudens. Descended to his son Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Descended to present owner.

    Condition:
  • Pair with birds: One broken and re-glued, the other with crack running half way through plate.

    All plates with chips and nicks to rim.
