Description:

French marble and gilt-metal mantel clock circa 1830
rectangular molded marble top over conforming metal case, housing 8-day time-and-strike movement above gilt-metal base with scrolling mounts.
H14" W12" D5 1/2"

    Condition:
  • Case body has been repainted, very minor scratches to marble top. Gilded mounts and base in original finish with minor highlight losses, some wear to silvering on dial and loss of numeral paint. Movement is complete and appears to be in working order; however, key and pendulum are missing. Overall clock condition is very good.
