French repeating carriage clock late 19th century
brass and glass case with bail handle, housing a time and strike movement with repeating mechanism and porcelain dial marked by retailer "J. W. Benson, London", together with a leather carrying case.

Provenance: Estate of the late Mr. & Mrs. Peter Trenholm, Abbeville, South Carolina.

    Condition:
  • Replaced platform escapement, minor tarnish to case, carrying case with losses, includes key. Clock is running in the gallery, however we do not guarantee timepieces to be operational after they leave the gallery.
