French slate and metal figural mantel clock circa 1880
case with cat and basket finial flanked by two children above slate plinth on ornate metal base with paw feet.
H17 1/4" W17" D8 1/2"
accompanied by associated candelabra.
H23" W7 1/2" D4 3/4" (3pcs)

Provenance: Tybee Island, Georgia private collection.

    Condition:
  • Bronze finish over spelter in good condition, sidepieces do not match however the bronze patination is very similar, slate and marble are in good condition, dial in very good condition, movement is complete with key and pendulum, clock is running in the gallery however we do not guarantee timepieces to be operational after they leave the gallery.
